Orchestra Concert: “The Colors of Music” – Bobae Johnson, violin and Karalyn Schubring, composer

Prize-winning Valley virtuosos, violinist Bobae Johnson of Phoenix, and MusicaNova Composition Fellow Karalyn Schubring of Gilbert,  join the MusicaNova Orchestra in the first concert of the season. Johnson soars in a concerto from a Russian émigré and Schubring’s world premiere marks her symphonic orchestra début.  Also on the program are works from a contemporary American composer, and a reimagined classic adapted from Spanish Ballet.
