About the Artist
Raised in a family of classical musicians, Stefan Crane began playing classical guitar at the age of four. He grew up primarily in Jacksonville, Florida and Birmingham, Alabama, and over the years began admiring the sounds of John Mayer, Pearl Jam, The Civil Wars, Ben Howard, Jack Johnson and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Stefan’s sound draws from rootsy, blues-rock styles, and he explores unique guitar accompaniments to support his raw vocal melodies. While receiving a BA in Philosophy, Neuroscience and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, and during his time spent working in the corporate world, Stefan rediscovered his passion for music and eventually decided to pursue it full-time.
