Marina Tiffany, 14, is an eighth grader attending South Valley Junior High School. The oldest of four children, she has played the harp for four years. Marina competed on the harp in the James R. Anthony Recital in June 2013 and was chosen as a finalist. She played in the Young Artist Harp Recital in 2014, getting Honorable Mention, and again in 2016 when she received second place. Marina has also completed five levels of the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) Harp Exam. Currently, she is the harpist for the East Valley Youth Symphony.
Other than harp, Marina plays the violin and the piano and has been singing with the prestigious East Valley Millennial Choirs and Orchestra (EVMCO) since 2009. She had the opportunity to shadow and rehearse with the EVMCO harpists in 2016 and was a vocal soloist for an EVMCO concert. She has been the concertmaster for South Valley Junior High’s orchestra, participates in their brand-new Chamber Orchestra, and plays the piano for South Valley Junior High’s Jazz Band. In 2016, she was voted by her school for “Most Musical”.
Marina has studied voice under Brandon Stewart, Brett Stewart and Corey Mendenhall; violin with Delite Hewes, Bill Bitter, and Linda Levy; and harp with Alla Yashneva and Dr. Carrol McLaughlin.
Hannah Guan, 15, is a freshman attending Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona. Starting harp at the age of 9, she has appeared in many ensembles, solo recitals, as well as competitions and community outreach programs.
Hannah has received many awards including 1st place in the 2011 East Valley Music Teachers Association competition, 2nd place in the Arizona String Teachers Association String Competition, 2nd place in the “Music of Germany and Austria” division of the 2016 International Great Composer Competition as well as the winner of the 2016 James R. Anthony Honor Recital.
She has passed 7 levels of the (ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) Harp Exam. Hannah has taken master classes from Lynn Aspnes and Maria Luisa Rayan-Forero. She is a member of the American Harp Society and its Phoenix chapter. Hannah is the also the principal harpist in the Hamilton High School Chamber Orchestra.
Aside from harp, Hannah is on the Hamilton High School Freshman Tennis Team.

Asuka Firdaus, 12, is 6th grader at BASIS Scottsdale School. She was born in Florida and began learning piano at age of 5, when she was in Pennsylvania. Currently Asuka studies with Snezana Krstic.
Asuka is the 1st place winner of the Phoenix Music Teacher Association’s Elder Piano Competition in 2016 and the Medalist with Distinction of the Arizona State Music Teachers Association Honor Recital in 2016.
In addition to playing the piano, Asuka enjoys writing books, drawing pictures and swimming.
Lawrence Wen, 10, is a fourth grader at Keystone Montessori. When he was five years old, Lawrence started to take private piano lessons with Mr. Fei Xu, who is also his current piano teacher.
Lawrence was the first prize winner of the Arizona Young Artist Piano Competition and East Valley Music Teachers Association Piano Competition.
Lawrence likes Classical and Jazz music. His favorite composers are Bach and Mozart. When he is not playing piano, Lawrence enjoys playing with friends, swimming, video games, and soccer. He is also a brown belt in Wado Ryu Karate.
As for career in the future, Lawrence wants to be a piano teacher and a game developer at the same time.
